Ten minutes' walk from where we live and near the water there is the Bergius Botanic Garden (Bergianska trädgården). It's got a huge green house and the neighborhood is amazing with countless plants. It's always a lovely stroll in warmer seasons and last Friday we went to pick up some soil to repot my succulents and cacti.
It's an amazing experience - I'd never gone in this cold before. Everything outside the greenhouse was covered with snow but inside it was like another planet.
After that I spent my Easter weekend repotting all my plants. I felt so calm and inspired, and created these new plant stamps:
I have so many custom orders now and am trying to be as productive as possible. I made this stamp below for Belinda's new baby son, Remy yesterday. She asked for his name in a fancy script font with a decorative Indian feather underneath.
So, which of these stamps do you like? If you'd like to order a custom stamp of your own, simply let me know the motif (and/or text) and size by clicking the "Contact Me" button on the right, or write to me at email@example.com
Stay inspired and creative! In one of my next blog posts I will be writing about my ink pads and stamp-making tools so you can get some insight for your next craft project:D
